I have a BA Honours degree in Fine Art with a specialism in painting and graphic design from the University of Salamanca. My last year at university was spent in Italy at the Fine Arts University of Brera, Milan. In 2008 I was a student at the Polytechnic University of Valencia where I completed a PGCE, specialising in Drawing. In 2009 I studied for a Masters in Graphic Design (Communication and Editorial Design) at “Escuela Superior de Diseño ELISAVA” in Barcelona. My interest in graffiti started in 1993, and in 2004 I joined the prestigious group “Alto Contraste”. In this group I took part in several mural illustration projects for Pull & Bear, Museum of Contemporary Art Da2, International Arts’ Festival of Castilla & Leon, “Ciudad Zaragoza” Festival, among others. I have won various prizes, such as: Jóvenes Creadores Vanguarclasidia (Salamanca 2007), Mitsubishi-Posca (Barcelona 2008), Certamen Joven of Calamonte (Badajoz 2009). I was selected for the Spanish Prebienial of Young Creators (Sevilla 2009) and European Biennial of Young Creators from Europe and The Mediterranean (Skopje, Macedonia 2009). Lecturer at the National Conference for Young Creators in Merida, Spain. Currently working at Floor Wesseling´s Studio in Amsterdam (Holland), Enjoying the Leonardo da Vinci programme. Typographic illustrations, letter morphology.
An analogue/digital Boogazine which joins together the analogue side of a book and the digital aspect of a video with the help of QR codes. Using these codes, you can see videos of the interviews and other sections reported in the Boogazine live from your mobile phone. 17 x 21cm, paperback, case made out of transparent plastic. A glance at controversial graphics in the modern world.
